About Broker Transparency Index
Making broker transparency measurable, comparable, and publicly accessible.
Our Mission
Retail forex and CFD traders face a fundamental information asymmetry: brokers know exactly how they handle orders, but traders are left with marketing claims and incomplete disclosures. The Broker Transparency Index exists to close that gap.
We evaluate brokers not on performance, profitability, or subjective quality -- but on what they publicly disclose about their execution practices, business model, and infrastructure. The result is a standardized, comparable transparency score for every broker in our directory.
What We Are
- An independent research project with no broker affiliations, sponsorships, or advertising relationships
- A transparency index that measures disclosure depth, not trading quality
- A public resource that traders can use to make more informed decisions about where they trade
What We Are Not
- Not a broker review site (we do not rate execution quality from experience)
- Not a financial advisor (BTI scores are not investment advice)
- Not an affiliate marketing project (no referral links, ever)
The BTI Research Team
BTI is maintained by a small team of researchers with backgrounds in financial markets, regulatory compliance, and technology. We focus on verifiable, evidence-based analysis rather than opinion.
All evaluations follow our published scoring methodology and editorial policy. We welcome scrutiny of our methods and encourage corrections when warranted.
